I finished my first full day of teaching!

And I feel exhausted! haha

But it was good, and despite my  funky stomach ache the night before, I felt good all day!!! Thank you for praying. :)

It was hard though to always know what's next and to time everything right, but for my first day I think it went well. And hopefully it will become easier for me as I get the hang of teaching.

Afterschool, I went to my classroom to prepare for tomorrow and I came home at 7pm, which was later than I expected it would take to prepare for one day. But I think it just is going to be difficult starting out and things will take awhile, but over time I think I will get faster and have more time for other things.

Right now I just feel a little overwhelmed and wonder if I'll be able to do this every day. Especially without my Dad, he's leaving tomorrow :( But I know that in these moments where you know you can't do this on your own, you begin to trust God more and more because you realize how much you need him.

And even though it can be hard and time consuming, being a teacher here is definitely worthwhile. The fact that God would allow me to be the teacher for my 28 precious students is a gift I am honored to receive. And I am so grateful that I get to spend every day learning and growing with a really awesome group of students. I really love them all a ton.
